Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 2% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 86.2/100, a mean average of 86.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 87.0/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.8.

One of the greatest songs of the last decade. I'm a real real boy and I cry.

Words can't really do justice to how much I think this song might end up meaning to so many people.

I was left breathless the first time I heard this as a single release earlier in 2018. Its so nuanced, so on point and so brilliantly delivered. J.A.A.A.O.R. has so much in the way of necessity, as in music we have been crying out for in Britain for years now, but this is just something else.

It's not often that you find an anthem for the problems with masculinity, but it's safe to say Idles' take on the matter is damn near perfect.

Quite possibly the most important song of a generation, I haven't related to something more than this in absolutely ages.
