I think it's about childhood memories and the feelings and senses that they evocate. The lyrics paint pictures that are detailed and colourful.
Highly melodic with a nice driving rhythm section. Byrds-like jangling guitars. Interesting keyboards mid-section breaks up the song nicely and I just love the elongated ending. La La La Lala La
