Though their output has decreased in quality as their noterity has done the opposite, many of us remember a time when only people that actively searched for their music had even heard of The Shins. Their first three albums stand as a testament to the artistic power that enthused early 2000's indie rock. You will be hard pressed to find a more complete album than Chutes Too Narrow.
Possibly the best band around at the moment.

Very consistent band with great music.

This band still holds a special place in my heart, but my last comment was ridiculously hyperbolic. A great band, but definitely not the best ever, not by a long shot. I guess it goes to show how I've become more discerning of what's good and bad in the last couple of years. But my rating still stands due to my own personal connection to this band.
