Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 6% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 79.9/100, a mean average of 78.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 80.8/100. The standard deviation for this track is 17.2.

One of the greatest to ever do it at perhaps his peak. There are some intense barrages of notes here that confuse even me, someone who has more or less studied Bonzo for 15 years.
Long? Sure. But I wouldn’t think to tell Michelangelo “that’s enough painting” or Michael Jordan to stop driving to the basket.
Bonzo was probably the greatest drummer of all time, but these solos can get boring really fast. I mean, probably fantastic to watch, but listening they are usually only so good.
Hamburger time.
"I believe in God, man. I've seen him. I've felt his power. He plays drums for Led Zeppelin and his name is John Bonham baby!" - Nick (Freaks and Geeks)
