Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 2% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 85.6/100, a mean average of 85.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 86.3/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.4.

A solid closer to a solid album. That never disappoints.

Didn't Elton John once say only Genesis could end a show with an instrumental, but what an ending. This is fusion but it's explosive and a real tour de force. What better way to finish off a simply brilliant album.

The perfect instrumental. The volume always goes way up when this one comes on. The lightning tempo, the wild percussion, the powerful keyboard and guitar strokes... it's all so delicious. It's also the perfect recap tune, as it incorporates elements from Dance on a Volcano and Squonk with great success, especially the latter where it takes that catchy main beat and forces it through your ears with so much more vigor than before. And it all ends in that glorious fade-out with Collins lightly singing "There's an angel standing in the sun," of course referencing the seminal Supper's Ready from the Gabriel era. I don't think it's their best song, but there may be no better defining tune for Genesis than Los Endos.
