Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 2% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 84.9/100, a mean average of 84.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 85.2/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.3.

Such a powerful, angry showcasing of Rael's backstory. Gabriel has so much poison in his voice, and it matches the heavy instrumentation perfectly. I do think some of the lyrics are bit confounding (the hell is "the porcupine"?), and the choruses aren't as instrumentally cohesive as they could be. But the raw aggression that permeates this one is such a refreshing thing to hear. Definitely one of The Lamb's highlights.
Again very accurate and basic keyboard work by Tony Banks. His loops form the basis for Gabriel's vocals. The vocals sound a little proto - punk here and there.
There was a time when this was my favorite track. I've probably had 10 favorite tracks over the last 20 years. Still in the top 5.

This song's a musical roller-coaster as "dance with the moonlit knight" was before it with a lot of inner turmoil, as shown in lyric "no time for romantic escape / when your fluffy heart is ready for rape". There's a lot of venom in gabriel's voice.
