Having a bad day, been listening to this song all day, really inspired me, might have to put this as my #1 song of all time... Perfect in every way...Van's expressive performance is IMO the greatest single performance ever for a pop/rock song...
Warner Bros had a great stall of producers that created expansive sounds that melded perfectly with van's interpretations, the lyrics, music etc, and plus great studio musicians that gave this recording so much direction and focus.
