Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track has a Bayesian average rating of 77.0/100, a mean average of 71.9/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.5/100. The standard deviation for this track is 21.1.

It sounds like Bruce Springsteen and the E street band, circa 1984/5. An okay version of a classic song.
I've got a memory contradiction going on, seem to recall in the doc about the making of this album Billy Sherill saying 'You know how to make a guy feel old...remember doing the original with Charlie Rich in 1959', and Sherill seemed faintly disapproving to me, but in his book EC compliments himself that BS didn't disappear behind his desk, as he was known to do if he didn't like what was going on in the studio.
It's a bit misleading as an opening track, starts out like an Attractions rock album, it's as Sherill said 'what he thought he was going to do with all the Country covers', but the album isn't like that at all.
