Swashbuckling take from a band exuding confidence. Fantastic
Very underrated tracks. Mills provides a great lead vocal, and the instrumentation is wonderful. One of my favorites from R.E.M.

"Texarkana" is a real place on the boarder of Texas and Arkansas , R.E.M liked the idea of a location that combines 2 places into one
It is loosely about being in the middle of no where
The original demo version was sung by Stipe and mentions Texarkana in the lyrics , the album version is sung by Mills with Texarkana references removed
