I didn't know this until recently, but apparently this is a John Stirratt tune that he wrote originally for Wilco's A.M. album, but which would up as an outtake (which now appears on a re-release). Laurie Stirratt, John's sister, snagged this one for her band and got it recorded on Homegrown. It's one of my favorite Blue Mountain songs, so much so that it's really impossible now for me to think of it as a Wilco song.
