This song sucks! One of the worst choruses ever. The rest of album is perfect though

Worst song on the album. I can't get behind the vocals in the chorus. Anna Wise adds a lot to this album but when they start adding effects on her vocals things go south more often than not. The instrumental on this keeps me from giving it a worse rating. Sounds like a b-side to me.
On it's own, this track probably doesn't make much sense, but it's my favourite on the album. It pretty perfectly encapsulates the maturity that Kendrick takes on and the monologue his mother gives is especially moving. Perfect final chapter to a beautiful album (before the 'end-credits' track Compton, which is a pretty excellent way to leave the whole thing ending on a high note).

The hook is terribly annoying which is a shame because the rest is good.
