Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 88.3/100, a mean average of 88.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 88.8/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.7.

Brings me back to one of the best times in my life! The way the music world is so appropriate when compared to the album cover
Pure britpop at its best, with the focus on struggling young people and their British culture that would become common britpop themes over the next few years. Beyond that, the song is the albums highlight, featuring pleasant string sections and female backing singers that provide a great contrast to Damons unique signing.
Solid 8.5/10
The announcement of Blur's Britpop years. Incredible opening track that is as the most Britishness as you get
