I'm not American so I'm not sure about this one.
Meaningful lyrics and hard edged topic, but just a very simple song format which doesn't add much on repeated listens. And his voice sounds shot.

A cliche 80s rock song? You've probably never read its lyrics. This song is 5 times better than an average "cliche rock song" from that time.
