Although it’s another cover, this must be the quintessential Santana sound. If someone has never heard Santana and you had to define the sound in one track, this would be it. If you go to a Santana gig, you go to dance. Enough said!
This was the start of Latin rock, with electric guitar, organ and a rock drum kit added to the brass section. In terms of defining a genre, this track is as relevant as Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath.
The guitar solos here are typically fantastic of Santana not forgetting a great organ solo as well.
