An instrumental track with its dynamism, complex structure, and fusion of musical genres including “latin Rock”, jazz and the blues.
I love the song as it is pretty much split into two songs. You’ve got the up-tempo jam at the start with myriad solos from various musicians which then transitions into a slower ending more akin to jazz.
This track contains some of Carlos’s most iconic solos and also has iconic percussion. This is pure Santana.
Definitely one of the highlights of Abraxas.
