Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 5% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 80.5/100, a mean average of 80.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 80.7/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.1.

"Is there a reason for today? / Do you remember?"

Another great slice of Psychedelia from Cream. This album really was Clapton at his creative peak in terms of his guitar playing

It’s not on a par with the opening two tracks on Disraeli Gears but it does help the album flow and I really rather like it

Not a great fan of Clapton’s vocal parts here as I think that the slower tempo of the track shows up the flaws in his singing (at this stage in his career). Having said that, still a very good track (Edited)

It is a good song but struggles to meet the same timeless punch of the previous 2 opening tracks

A beautiful song with great psychedelic lyrics. Really like Bruce's singing. (Edited)

This is a showcase for Bruce's basswork & vocals. I was never a fan of Baker's drumming.

The lyrics really touch me. The psychedelic and mysterious mood around it just grabs me. (Edited)

One of the best songs on the album. Baker's drumming is so tasteful and the combined vocals of Bruce and Clapton are pure gold. (Edited)
