Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 91.3/100, a mean average of 90.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 91.8/100. The standard deviation for this track is 14.0.

This is the type of music that I love! The guitar screaming and crying in the outro is not a common thing to hear in a song, specially done this well. (Edited)

I would have to put this song up there with the band’s very best material as well. What a mood and atmosphere.

I love all the Queens drummers but I’m so glad Dave Grohl played on this song.

Their best track. The free fall for the last minute and a half is some of the best instrumentals and vocals I've ever heard.

Easily the most underrated song of the decade, arguably the best. (Edited)

I still have a place for Smooth Sailing, but the power of this song is so astonishing you can't help but enlighten yourself to the beauty of the song, especially towards the end you're totally gripped and in such an emotional state.

By far the greatest song this decade has offered us so far.
