Best strictly rock band of the 21st century so far. The heavy rifts, the lyricism, the presence all shine from the interplay between all members.

I think QOTSA is the best active Rock band in America. Songs For The Deaf is a masterpiece. Rated R and ...Like Clockwork are also great; I'd list ...Like Clockwork as QOTSA's 2nd best work.

I think Dave Grohl once said: "Queens Of The Stone Age is like the best elements of all music. They have beautiful melodies, they have the heaviest guitars, they have simple arrangements, they have crazy arrangements, they have catchy songs, they have heavy songs (and the best drummer in the world)"
My absolute favourite band.

They're just so cool. Their songs are so dark and mysterious. And each new riff is as awesome as the previous one.

Love QOTSA, a firm top 10 favourite band of mine. As I love all their albums, pretty much like every song they have done; also great live.

Saw them in Coachella singing in a windstorm sounding great while other artists were struggling (Pharrell Williams just couldn't sing). Those generator parties paid off.

One of my favourite bands of all time, huge variety, awesome riffs, and their music is very addicting, it's like they are a drug. Kinda makes sense why it's called Stoner rock, it makes me stoned.
