Didn't like this song at first but it's growing on me, might get pushed to a 90 on next listen.

Was grooving the whole time to this song. Still getting major CAN vibes that I can’t shake. Don’t know why they remind me of an indie rock version of a band from Cologne in the 70s whose frontman was a homeless Japanese man. Brink of trip-hop at times with the instrumentation.

I've always loved the finale to this song. The huge scale of the last minute and how quickly it ends. Perhaps a metaphor for a gun shot.

Even though it's not soul, this is a really soulful song.
