Yes, this is VERY mid-2000s indie rock. Might have heard this in a car commercial, but then again what mid-2000s car commercial didn’t feature some indie rock song? This feels well-produced and I really dig these vocals. Reminiscent of like, Franz Ferdinand, or something? The Strokes? So far I think this song is Good but a bit generic in comparison to the last few on the album I’ve listened to, although at the time this was cutting-edge and what “sold.”
The woowoowoowoo is new. Anyway, the production may sound sloppy, but it's a well done song.
