Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 87.6/100, a mean average of 86.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 88.0/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.8.

Best track on the album. Nothing comes close IMO.
I absolutely love the message from the addition of the spoken part. It also flows with the music perfectly, and the subtle progression in this song is incredible. I think that 9 minutes for this song is perfect. The repetitive synth background of the song is paired with an incredible orchestral section and percussion at the perfect time. Something about this song really hooks me in, it's just very immersive. The guitar solo is incredible as well, and the song is somehow very repetitive, accessible, and consistent but it also gets a TON of experimentation in and it crosses many genres of music. This song is incredible, and if I'm in the right mood, it's one of my favorite songs ever written.

Builds and builds. And that interview speech makes it so much better. A proper dedication and celebration of Moroder.
Really interesting song. It's long, but it's constantly interesting.
@zenex47 9min is way too short! i can listen to it over and over again, never gets boring, just my opinion.
It's not bad, but 9 mins is too long, after a few listens it's a bit boring
Interesting beginning with an interesting message. But the other seven minutes are the same riff and a few extras. An OK track.
