Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 18% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 78.1/100, a mean average of 77.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 78.1/100. The standard deviation for this track is 13.4.

Just gave this a recent listen and could not believe how similar elements are to Bon Iver's For Emma in terms of it's delicate, beautiful vocal and there is even a chord that it is pure Bon Iver - wonder if they reference Genesis as an influence
The song is quite allright. But the issue is, it is out of place on this album.
This song gets lost in the brilliance of other longer tracks on the album, but this is really good and sung beautifully by Phil.
Such a beautiful, tender, heartbreaking track. Only Phil Collins' second lead vocal with Genesis, and he absolutely kills it on this short story about lost love. More Fool Me has the unfortunate fate of being on the same side of an album as three of the greatest songs in prog rock history, and it's a damn shame that so many people overlook this beauty of a song because of it. You may need to listen to it a couple times in order to appreciate it, but it's worth the time.
Collins' vocals are not bad at all, but they can't be compared to those of Gabriel that deliver a better performance.
I actually really like this song. I think the vocals are wonderful, I really don't get the hate.
Not terrible by any stretch, but Collins' vocals are a bit hard for my ears to take compared to Gabriel's. The chorus is great, but the rest of the song seems a bit unfinished.
Probably the only throwaway track on my top 5 albums. But it's Phil Collins' roots so that's gotta count for something.
It wasn't bad. It was better than OK.
This is the worst song ever according to RFNAPLES' ratings!
