Love the orchestration that starts this track and I would rank it as probably the best track on Pet Sounds. It’s a great pop song.
This might well be the best track the Beach Boys ever recorded with wonderful lead vocals to go along with the near perfect construction of the track. (Edited)

So beautiful, I can't see how anyone cannot be moved by this. The melody is absolutely sublime and is easily one of the loveliest songs ever written. Having said that, the narrator of the song obviously finds it incredibly hard to express himself(opening line, 'i may not always love you') but in truth it's the music that makes this song so special, and the song title itself is easily the most important part of the lyrics, basically saying that words and actions alone are not enough to express how much someone can love somebody else. All in all, just about perfect. (Edited)

Probably the most beautiful song ever written and I'm not sure that anything will ever come close (maybe VU's Pale Blue Eyes or The Beatles' Here, There and Everywhere). More haunting the more you hear it, a quality shared by Surf's Up to a stronger degree. It's just great. (Edited)
