Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 4% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 81.2/100, a mean average of 80.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 81.4/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.3.

I've always loved the boldness of this track, mainly its positioning as the album's second track. Following the lush and lovely Love's In Need of Love Today, Stevie knew he'd have the listener engaged and what is Songs In the Key of Life without arguably Stevie's most omnipresent force of love and life itself? His God. Although this isn't one of the true highlights of Songs.. an album sewn with the seeds of masterful song crafting, the record would be incomplete without it.
Capping off the track with a lovely, "Thank you... thank you very muchhh..." , Stevie shows appreciation to the listener for bringing down their walls of preconceived religious notions and cultural practices just for the 3 minutes it took to prioritize one of the pillars in his life.

A great second track of the album that has the same qualities I loved on 'Smile Please' and 'Ten Zillion' off the previous album. SW at his very best.

Very groovy beat and great eye for details in the song.
Sounds a little to much like a commercial jingle, but it's got a good message, and good lyrics.
Did you know Stevie does all of the instruments?
