Attacking the evangelists, love it. A fun song, great video.
A strong Genesis cut in terms of straight-up pop. A harsh attack on the televangelists of the era, Jesus He Knows Me has some clever, sarcastic lyrics all throughout the verses that outline the hypocrisy that many of these TV preachers were indulging in. The choruses aren't quite as convincing, as they're a little generic, but the driving beat keeps the song moving along regardless. The only stop is the slower, reggae-like bridge, which feels really out of place, but it doesn't last too long before it's back into the groove. There were opportunities to make this one stronger, but there's still a lot of success here.
