People get so caught up in being controversial. Very few of these are actually BAD bands, but fair enough if you think they're overrated.
There's probably some garage band in Boston trying to infuse experimental oboe into their hard rock that can't play any instruments - that's got to be worse than U2, who are probably big for a reason.
When it comes down to it, I don't distinguish between worst and least favorite. In the end, my least favorite are gonna be the worst in my book, and yes, there are worse bands out there, but I don't count them because it's already understood they are bad.
As for dave grohls post, he didn't do anything too astounding for music either so I don't think he has much room to talk.

The Dave Grohl post isn't from the man himself, just a parody account (Which appears to be no longer active...). Thought it'd be fun to make a Nickelback joke here. Although personally I think choosing the worst band of all time is impossible. I dislike many bands (Paramore, Creed, the majority of bands from Britain over the past few years), doesn't necessarily make them the worst band of all time however. _________________
