The albums were meant only to provide humor. All presidents have been roasted/satirized and it’s OK; they are human, not gods or monarchs. We must all learn to laugh at ourselves. I pray that BO isn't on the wrong track and that the tracks won't run out unexpectedly. But more importantly I pray that we can shift him to the correct track.
Brohio, I too would rather do the right thing. That is why I question the president's positions. That is why most people disapprove of the way he is handling the deficit, healthcare, economy, and unemployment. Unfortunately silence is often viewed to be a sign of approval; I can't be silent. |
But I'm not laughing when I watch Beck, Hannity or Dennis Miller on O'Reilly. They are breeding contempt for Obama. I see no good natured humor in their tack. And the public that's sups at their troughs know no better. They buy it all, hook, line and sinker. Now they can hate blacks and fit right in. With America divided like no time in my lifetime at least, it's become so ugly I can hardly turn on the right wingers anymore. It used to be one of my favorite things to do. Now, the immense bias and undermining that they foment results in Obama's numbers dropping the way they have been. I'm not saying he's great, but I think he can be and he's not being given the chance. Maybe not being given the chance a white man would have gotten.

I am sorry you take offense when you watch Beck, Hannity or Dennis Miller on O'Reilly. Do like I do, don't watch! Remember all the president's men and democrat spin doctors are telling their side on more than one network and media. Isn't it fair that both sides have an opportunity to speak their mind? Because somebody uses a bit of humor doesn’t necessarily make them disingenuous. I wouldn't belittle their audience either, there are intelligent people on both sides of the issue (more on the republican side of course  ).

I'll take over regulating over under regulating any day of the week. When we get over regulated our taxes go up. When we're under regulated people lose their homes and the economy explodes into shit.
I've never understood this myth of the market taking care of itself. I've never seen it do that successfully.

Obama aside, I often watch Beck for a couple minutes every now and again to laugh my ass off; his show is actually competition for the Colbert Report. Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh too; but no one can ever beat Nancy Grace at being the most retarded person on news ever.

Nancy Grace is a dried up shrew. Coulter is evil. Colbert is funny. Beck is insane. Take Greta Van Fuckmealot. She used to be a Court TV reporter. NO bias. Now she's a Fox shill for their un-American agenda. Never have we seen this kind of propaganda from either side of the aisle. And that no-necked numbnut Charles Krauthammerseigheilmeinfurher is so smug who wouldn't want to push his face is a pile of Palin's doo-doo. Sarah Palin. How on earth have we stooped so low as a nation to give her the credit she gets from the tea-baggers and Comrade Naples.
