So this would be multiple tourneys starting with the 50s? I like this idea. I definitely agree that it'll provide more variety and will be easier since it's been impossible to keep up with all of the albums in the latest tourney

I've had the best songs tournament on the backburner for a while now. I'm not sure which thread it was originally stated in but you can see it in the poll options here

This would definitely be an interesting change from album tournaments, I'm down with it!

If AM wanted a new mod, who do you people think would be the best choice for a new moderator? I think it would be a good idea. It would be similar to the "Best User" thread but different: current moderators are not allowed in the tourney, and it would be based upon who has contributed greatly to the site (has over 6,000 points in moderation history. What do you think?

(btw, I don't want to be nominated if this happens.)

A new mod wouldn't be such a bad thing I guess as there's only 6+AM, but if we did need one I doubt we'd need a competition to decide on someone, also there's only 26 users on the site with 6000+ mod points, some I've never even seen on the forums and some are already mods which cuts it down significantly, I'm not saying we need a new mod, but if we did I don't think there should any points limit set.

hmm, how about 9,000 points total? If no one likes the idea, alright! How about a "best two person band" tourney? I nominate the White Stripes if so. There are a lot of two person bands: Sonny & Cher, Simon & Garfunkel, The Everly Brothers, (damg I like them oldies but goodies), Captain & Tenille, I could go on.

Also, I found that I am the number ten data moderator. Cool. 11,004 points.
