- Post subject: Alternatives to Itunes Store?
|
I had meant to ask this a while back when I made a big post on the illegal downloading page (a lot of this is repeat from that) but was re-inspired by Mr Shankly's thread about his recent frustrations with the itunes software.
Basically, I'd like to start buying all my digital music through BEA but Amazon MP3 isn't available outside of the US and I can't stand Itunes and it's a big factor in why I haven't bought digital music before.
So I'm wondering if it would be possible to affiliate the tracks with yet another digital music store, that is available outside of the US? I guess I would understand if it wasn't as easy as that...but yeah. thanks!

Thanks Jhereko, I did read that thread and thought about which stores could be added, but I don't know what is available. The only other one I can think of is 7digital, but I'm not sure if they are any good or not. If you can suggest any more, I'm happy to investigate.

hmmm I've tried to find some but there doesn't seem to be any global ones (I think maybe the www.fairsharemusic.com one I mentioned on that previous thread may have been) and even 7digital isn't available here. Zune has a marketplace but as far as I can see it seems to be through the software only. and www.bandit.fm which is run by sony is avilable in Aus, NZ, Mexico and Singapore.
...So I don't know it might not be possible, which is a shame.
