Oh, alright then.
I'm not sure if I had anything specific in mind when I wrote that, but I guess I just wanted to give you a better idea of how you guys have voted. I already mentioned the tight battle between mbv and Loud City Song in both indie/alter and overall category. That was a pretty big surprise for me, none of the others were really all that close. Modern Vampires did however get most #1 spots, so if we went with regular "pick your favourite" vote, then this would be your winner (both in best album and best indie/alter). A different winner would also be in the best song category - Gustavo had the most #1 votes, but Get Lucky was just kinda universally loved, most people put it in their top 5, so it ended up being a pretty comfortable win. Another note for the best album - Reflektor only came in 9th, beating only Overgrown. The rest of the nominees were pretty close together from #3-#8.
Other really close decisions:
Gustavo only beat Only Tomorrow on a tie-breaker.
Gorguts beat Sunbather despite having less #1 votes.
Good battle between Lorde and CHVRCHES, both in best pop album and song (but surprisingly enough, The Bones... wasn't really close to Pure Heroine in the best debut category) - in both cases the winner was the one with less #1 votes. Bey took third spot.
Brennisteinn just about took it over ...Like Clockwork
Neil almost beat the BEAM compilation. It was also super close in the best user song vote - all three songs (including yours Defago ) were really close.
A couple more interesting observations
Black Skinhead had the most #1 votes by far, but also the most #5s, so wasn't really close to winning.
Very similar thing with $krillionaire in best solo female - more #1s than anybody, but still easily in the last place. I said it before, but Mephisto in the Water winning here was a massive, but also most pleasant surprise for me. Interesting note, This is a True Heart only came in fourth, despite Julia doing so well overall.
I also thought Immunity winning was a pretty big surprise - Tomorrow's Harvest was a close second, RAM wasn't really that close...
Most dominating:
Acid Rap murdered everything, both in best hip hop and best solo male.
Julia also won very easily in solo female.
Kveikur in the "foreign language" category. Which kinda sucked. I hope people at least listened to Aljawal.
Bangerz and Accidental Racist also both with an overwhelming win.
BEA also seems to still have a hard-on for Burial. Two convincing wins, I expected the one in the best EP category, but not in the solo male song category - that was a pretty massive margin there...
I was kinda surprised to see Marling very comfortably winning best folk too.
Also a pretty easy win for the Like a Rolling Stone vid. No surprises there.

All hail our Dear Leader, Kim Jong Neil. Seriously though he completely deserved the win, both of his tracks (and his LP) are really solid.
