|
| this is one for the lazy people (but again it's not that urgent). i was wanting to rate a few R.E.M. albums and to get to each one I had to keep going to R.E.M.'s band page and then finding the album I was looking for and go through. I was thinking it would be cool to have at the bottom of artist pages either a linked chronological timeline of the artists albums (similar to what wikipedia has when you look at an album page) or a previous album and next album clickable. Not sure how hard it is but not urgent but would a cool thing maybe. cheers. |

Very much in favour of the "next album/prev. album", wiki-style idea, sort of like what you'd see here on the side: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Led_Zeppelin_IV
I think it would make browsing through an artist's catalogue a lot "smoother". |

I like the idea, but BEA doesn't show a complete discography for each band so there might be 'gaps' for a lot of artists which might misrepresent things if we added a timeline.
If you wanted a way of navigating through an artist's albums from an album page, instead we could add 'next/previous best ranked', or something like that?
Taking Led Zeppelin as an example, maybe something like this if you were on the Led Zeppelin I page:
| Code: |
Led Zeppelin II Led Zeppelin I Physical Graffiti
Overall Rank: 37 Overall Rank: 51 Overall Rank: 65
(Higher ranked) (Lower ranked)
