Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 3% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 77.5/100, a mean average of 77.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 78.1/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.3.

Poor mans Kraftwerk. verdammt
Is it weird that I wish every song was twice as long as they are? I could really get lost in every minute of this thing. Zuckerzeit, along with Autobahn, really solidify electronics in pop music early on. Germans really knew what they were doing in the 70s in regards to music, such an innovative time.
this album is great. some of my favorite electronic drum sounds ever. really like that i have 0 idea how they created most of the sounds on it. also a great title, it's one of those german "double words" that just uses to words smashed together - "sugar time" :D
Groundbreaking and incredibly innovative, this record has influenced musicians to this very day.
This may go down as one of the most underrated albums of the 70s, maybe even in the history of the album format.
For instant listening, I could only find this YouTube full album video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AD7It9jaaBQ&wl_id=XOCSkXzLRJs&wl_token=JBu-6WZAh_g6szQzM56 KiBICd558MTQ1NTI5NTgxMkAxNDU1MjA5NDEy.
How crazy is that! Seriously, this will quickly make its way onto my top albums of the 1970s, maybe even top 100 of all time.
I know it was one of the first 'electronic' albums, and the time and effort into getting the textures and panning and sounds is all very nice, but for the most part, I'm unimpressed with the final result. Roedelius's songs are also noticeably better than Moebius's.
