Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 91.7/100, a mean average of 91.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 92.0/100. The standard deviation for this track is 10.9.

I remember when this album came out, I was still not into Bowie at all, despite me being a huge classic rock fan and Bowie being my dad’s favorite. A few months after his death, we were listening to the album and my dad told me what he thought of this song. He told me he thought that the banging at the end, was the nail in the coffin. Literally, this song is (or at least I believe) him writing a song from the point of being dead. And it all ends, with a nail in the coffin. This was his final goodbye.

absolutely gorgeous
A goodbye message.
The perfect swan song
Incredible song!! Great instrumentation and it also creates a dark atmosphere. This song gets me everytime :(

Damning, dark and cryptic.
Haunting & Overwhelming
The song was amazing beforehand, but there's just so much more meaning to it now. Amazing.
