Side two (my favourite side) starts with some fairground noise and some chap encouraging punters to have a go to win a prize. Then silence for a brief moment, followed by the most charming and melodic piano intro imaginable. Then the other instruments come in with horns and the listening is washed over with utter musical joy that could make the hairs on your arms stand up with full attention. The song is utterly gorgeous and one of the band's finest efforts from the decade. If the album had more songs like this and had of included 'We Love You' and 'Dandelion' then this would have given 'Sgt Peppers' Lonely Hearts Club Band' a run for the money. That's too many 'ifs' though. This song is a fanfare and unusually brilliant.
Without doubt the best song on the album. It's a wonderful track, full of colour and beauty and arguably the best Stones song from the psychedelic era(although personally i'd go for, we love you, which should have been on this album). Backing vocals from Lennon and McCartney help to make this a brilliant start to the second side.
