Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 87.9/100, a mean average of 87.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 88.1/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.5.

I've never been much of a fan of this song, but the live acoustic version they did as a music video made me appreciate it more. Though I really prefer to listen to that version. I think this version is very "saturated" with sounds.
another exemple of a song that doesn't have anything special when u first hear it. still thom's voice in the end... so powerful!
My favorite on the album and the live version with Jonny is perfect.
That acoustic guitar loop is to die for
Very close 2nd for me on this album. Only topped by Decks Dark. Having said this, the whole album is a masterpiece.
I absolutely love the free form piano layers in the beginning. They seem to show up a lot throughout AMSP and is highlighted best on this song. Those pianos add so much depth and mystique to the song. It's at it's core a folk song. Bass lines are great and reminiscent of some of the lines from Dylan's "Blood on the Tracks" (radioheadized of course).
The soft choir, occasional tonicization, piano, bass lines, strings, and yorke's vocals, make this truly a phenomenal radiohead track. Album highlight.
Solidifies AMSP as a collection of the decades best compositions.
I believe this to be one of the greatest pieces of music ever composed. Radiohead will be remembered for generations to come like The Beatles and Mozart, and it's because of masterpieces like this! The lyrics are incredibly inspirational and probably one of Radiohead's more positive and uplifting songs. I could listen to the guitar groove until the end of time.
The strings again. The best of the album. Fucking brillant.
Really interesting, what has happened from Thom's first presentation in December in Paris.
A strictly simple song.
A stellar example of Nigel Godrich's flawless production (of course, accompanied by York), but let's be frank in what he does for these guys. It really shines through on this album, so thanks to the 5 champs with their 6th backing them up.
