Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 4% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 81.8/100, a mean average of 81.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 82.4/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.3.

This is one of the best album closers I've ever heard. Not only of the decade, even ever. It's so sincere and beautiful, it feels like he is talking right next to you.

After a constantly negative and depressive mood with existential dread towards society during the whole album, this song brings things to a peaceful closing, finding some kind of happiness and hope in small things at the end of the road, like being next to your loved ones, enjoying a drink and hearing the pianoman play "This Must Be The Place" with them, realizing that everything isn't so bad because that moment feels like a miracle, and that in the end, everything will be alright. It's simple, but a very powerful and beautiful statement.

From the amazing musical arrangements, to Josh's beautiful lyrics and having in mind what this album is trying to say along with the state of this crazy world, it portrays perfectly the fragility of humanity. The last verses are so moving that they always bring me to tears.

"There's nothing to fear"

It's perfect. Thank you Josh
