Good song! I think Girl Talk had the right idea backing her musically with NIN.
Some of Max Martin's best work. Quick drums that move the catchy verses along, a catchy guitar, and fun, subdued vocals that just suddenly explode for the chorus. And no one belts it out better than Kelly.

such a great song, really good backup band. IMO one of the few top 40 songs of the last decade that has real rock energy, ..don't hate me. One of the few songs that has the chord progression: E minor, C Major, G Major..in the key of G major...very unusual. This song is in the key of G, but most of the chords are minor chords which is also unusual. Most rock songs are 1, 4, 5 and I have always complained that you have 4 other chords to use which is what the composer has done here.

Personally, I've never understood why people like this song so much more than the rest of Breakaway. I mean, it's a great song, but nothing compared to "Because of You" and "Behind These Hazel Eyes".
