Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. This song is so obviously manufactured to be a hit that it hurts me physically. As someone who is guilty of enjoying some of Taylor Swift's older songs, hearing this made me lose a lot of respect for her as an artist. I mean, the chorus of this song can barely be called music. The idea of playing against ones reputation and experimenting with music is interesting, but this is not how it's done.

One hell of a ridiculous song

Awkward, stingy and forced. As a song, it can't seem to decide whether it's a dance tune or some pseudo-RnB track, so instead it clumsily lurches from verse to chorus and back. Feels like late-80s pop rap crashing into 2007-era Britney Spears vocals; no prizes for guessing that it doesn't work out well.
