This song has been my favorite song for a VERY long time. I love it.

The Killers, at least for me are a hit or miss. Their music in general isn't that great. But their really good songs become my favorite songs of all time. "When You Were Young" is a song I love. It's up there with my favorite songs of all time. Not just the lyrics but the music just speaks to me on a very deep level. I just love this.
One of their best songs
Faux Springsteen, definitely. But as such it's really not bad at all! Not as good as anything on the first album either.

I don't hear ANY similarities between this and Born To Run"...and anyone who thinks Bruce can't sing has no idea what a good singer sounds like. This is a great song, heavy, exciting. Ok. Maybe that one little run sounds like the Bruce song...but that's it.
Even with a similarity to 'Born to run' I'd take this song anyday of the week, cause I can't stand the boss' monotone, drab voice.
