Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track has a Bayesian average rating of 31.8/100, a mean average of 20.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 20.4/100. The standard deviation for this track is 26.0.

Ignore my juvenile 2016 comment. This thing cannot be categorised. Simply has to be witnessed. Exceptional in ways society still isn't ready for.
How does one go from the verse in Monster to this?
Legitimately one of the most ear-grating, obnoxious, annoying, irritating, insufferable, unlistenable songs ever. The constant onslaught of clattering percussion, pounding bass, the neverending woo's and other random sound awful sound effects.
And despite all of this, the most annoying part of the song is Nicki herself. Her delivery is so whiny, nasal, whiny sounding, and grating. I'm not even gonna get into the lyrics because if I were to point out every single terrible line I'd have to write an entire essay (well, two essays because I'm already sort of writing one).
The entire song is like listening to the audio recordings of fifty different industrial factories mashed together without any rhyme or reason with a whiny spoiled child throwing a tantrum layered on top of it all. It's just over three minutes and feels like three hours. Quite possibly the worst song of all time.
A genuine contender for one of the best songs of the decade. Sorry y'all don't get it. This shit is experimental, bonkers & brilliant. proto-PC music - ahead of its time.

A genuine contender for the worst song of all time.
