Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track has a Bayesian average rating of 66.4/100, a mean average of 65.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 65.1/100. The standard deviation for this track is 25.8.

I think being told hundreds of times by hundreds of people that I should hate this song made me actually kinda like it.
Fuck it, I'm even gonna go a step further and say the 'biscuit tin' snare drum actually makes this song.
I've never been a fan of Metallica but from the songs I heard before they at least sounded decent! This putrid song sounds like someone throwing up, and that's the perfect description for this song. It eats up all these ideas and digests them only to have them regurgitated in the most unappealing fashion and the final result is a clustered mixing, disgusting lyrics and it has an unapologetic tone to it. To think that it's only a seven and-a-half minute song out of the 75 minute album is terrifying. One of the worst songs I have ever heard.
