Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 88.8/100, a mean average of 88.9/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 89.9/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.0.

This is one of the staples of rock and roll. Songs that define the genre, one of the first songs that come to mind when you hear the term "Rock And Roll". Other songs like this are "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Back In Black", "Smoke On The Water", "Free Bird", "Sweet Child O' Mine", "Born To Be Wild", and "Rock You Like A Hurricane". Just incredibly iconic songs that everyone seems to know regardless of age or musical taste
Over played, but it's so great idc.
I don't care how overplayed this is, I never tire of it. A brilliant song in construction, production and delivery. It never wears out its welcome.
A big, bloated pile of pseudo-classical pomp.
Kansas, a band that had nothing, wrote a mega-hit that is constantly played on radio stations of multiple genres. This song is one of the only reasons Kansas is still making albums and selling albums. This is one of the most important songs in the rock genre, and will live on forever.
As for the actual content of the song, it may please hard rock fans... but after listening to enough Kansas, you can totally see the prog.
By far their best song.
