Finally a studio version of this brilliant track. Over seven minutes and still not a second too long this track derives from a real life incident that had the NYPC loading 41 bullets into some unfortunate victim. The NYPC weren't too happy with this track and threatened to boycott their role as security at Springsteen's New York gigs. Either way, it's a stunning song and will eventually go down as a Springsteen classic.
