Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 88.5/100, a mean average of 87.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 88.8/100. The standard deviation for this track is 13.5.

I came back 8 years later to tell you it's still one of the greatest moments in the history of recorded music.
Great in its day, a classic.
I liked this when I was a kid, but in adulthood it's just a novelty song.
Incredible genious...
Hino consagrada pelo público que resumiu o que o Helloween e o cinema para os americanos.
Brilliant song and so infectious one of his best songs.
Very great beat and sounds, but i'm not a big fan of the talking part.
Catchy as hell, a killer base line and one of the best themes for a pop song ever. This is Jackson's vision and stagemanship at its absolute best.
It was hard to give an unbiased rating on this given the fact my mom overplayed this to the max
Great song though
Why is this so popular? Again, solid beat, nice bassline, laughable lyrics. Everything in this song other than the drum & bass is just hard to tolerate.
