I don't really get Black Sabbath. Super thin sounding and not in the cool way. Super repetitive without creating a trance or atmosphere. Average songwriting. And absolutely not heavy at all. They're obviously influental, but many of the later doom/sludge/stoner/drone metal bands who worship Sabbath have improved on their ideas.

I've tried them a couple times and have had similar thoughts. It just sounds outdated.
