There really isn't an issue here at all. They rated a whole bunch of albums in one day. What's albummaster going to actually say to this? The user could simply turn around and say they have listened to these. albummaster can't turn around and say "But they're obscure!". The user doesn't have to prove anything, it is the website which has to prove their claims.

This website is used by many people for different reasons. There have been users who only rate albums, users who put up a chart and left while another didn't agree with rating anything in anyway at all and only came on the forum to talk. Let's say the user has not listened to half the albums they have rated. That is their prerogative on how they use the website. They have not broken a rule, they will simply be living a lie. It would be a strange thing to do but... who is anyone to judge what is strange.

It conclusion, while out of the normal, no rule has been broken here and I may have to close this thread lest we make bad a users good name. It wouldn't feel too good being them and reading this thread now would it?

The great thing about BEA is that it has both ratings and ranking points. The ranking points is a much more reliable way of judging the quality of an album as a user won't just put any album in their charts to get the points.

This is the main reason I use BEA and not Rate Your Music or other such sites. I use the ratings on BEA for my own personal reference and the ranking points to decide which albums to listen that I haven't heard.
