If it makes you feel any better, I've always liked poll threads. But to keep from criticism, it's best to space them out. I don't know why people don't like polls. It's weird.

People don't like them because they often don't supply sufficient options, pointless questions, and for the most part what's the point really? If you want to know people's favorite songs of the 1970s you can look at the stats and see what the common choices are. I mean all this thread is really going to prove is that dadrockers like Led Zeppelin songs and The Who and the 2edgy4u folks like songs from Tago Mago. What do we get out of this? All of this can be explained in charts and it leads to more bickering than actually quality discussion about music.

Polls are fine, for the most part. I personally just thought the Weezer one didn't make any sense, but I've enjoyed most of your other ones.
