Winter songs

All right, so it's slowly approaching winter (and Christmas, obviously), and I've been wondering what your favourite winter/Christmas songs are. If I get enough responses I will hopefully build a big winter playlist which will just make me feel very festive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrQRS40OKNE Here's an obvious choice, but it's just so fantastically layered and harmonised that it's hard to not feel happy when the "I was following the pack..." kicks in. Brilliant. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTnBc_-QCXk This isn't necessarily a winter song, but it definitely ticks all the boxes. The angelic harmonies (like in White Winter Hymnal), the catchy 'ooh's and 'aah's, and of course the sleigh bells. Just has a snowy feel to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtemrZ7-pj0 And of course... Svefn-g-englar. It just sounds so cold that it's hard to avoid when thinking about winter.

Do you mean winter songs as in cold or festive? Just wanted to get it clear before i spam this thread with black metal.

Haha, I was excited by the thread title but then he went on to say he basically wants Christmas music. XD Though from the sounds of it he'll take either one, so I'm going to post some cold stuff regardless. XD

Here's a nice lullaby for melancholy winter days:

And here's music for being subjected to ice-goblin ceremonies before being sacrificed in the cold of winter (this album makes me believe in ice-goblins)

Here is music for staring out of a window on a dark snowy night:

Honestly, Agalloch is my go-to for dreary fall/winter music.
