Bit of an overhaul to my Overall chart. Decided that there's really no point in including stuff like Abbey Road, Ok Computer, Highway 61, etc. History has been extremely favorable to them and including them on my chart does nothing for them, so gone are some of the biggest albums on my chart to make room for a handful of lesser-appreciated albums that have always been right on the verge of making my overall chart anyway and truly deserve the recognition, and some current obsessions.
Finally put together this. At least the first 50. Stopped there cuz damn! It was taking forever adding all these albums and artists. I'll do an update sometime later.
Let me know what you think. If you are interested in delta blues (like Robert Johnson or son house) or east coast piedmont style blues (like blind Willie mctell or Curley weaver, you may find this interesting. _________________ -Ryan
Hopefully looking to get my chart onto the 'User Pick of the Day' thing. So yeah, I'll shamelessly plug it here and see if I can get someone to listen to an album from it they may never have heard before.
I think it is as complete as it will ever be. Take a look.
Any recs? I'm so off, Bon Iver's annoying me, and most of my top albums are in the same boat. Haven't actually tried Foiled because I don't wanna compare it to Deja. _________________

I don't remember your old chart but do you like classical music? It's worth getting into if you're just bored with everything you like now. (though obviously, it's worth listening to for the crazy amount of great music alone) It's also great for studying, anyways standard recs:

Really little experience with modern classical outside of Ticheli, Reineke, Karlsson, and a few other more standard composers for wind ensembles. I'll have to look into these, thanks. Oh and PS, old chart's still up if you're curious, but it's bugging me not to have some more accurate list. _________________

If you're going to explore classical music I'd recommend going in chronological order. (starting with the Baroque era and the major composers) This ( http://www.prestoclassical.co.uk/ ) is a good site I use for finding recommended recordings, because I know how annoying it is having to choose between 100's of recordings on album for some of the really famous compositions.
and yeah I just saw your old chart was still up, I figured you had it private if you put up a temporary one.

I'll look around, that'd be interesting. Grew up on a lot of Baroque, that and gypsy blues are my dad's favorite genres, but there's large holes in my knowledge. Also that's something I'd thought about and ... well, frankly, I probably should do. _________________
