Try "Beggars Banquet". That's a pretty accessible Rolling Stones album and has a pretty great blend of their early work as well as marking the beginning of their really classic 68-72 era.

Sttooooooooooooonnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

But okay I'll give that a shot.

Also Pink Floyd, granted I've only listened to The Dark Side of the Moon.

Does anybody have a good suggestion on where to start if I didn't like that album?

You realise Dark Side of the Moon is normally an album people get into when the are teenagers smoking something to it. This is what I have found. I did not get into it this way. Have always been intrigued by DSOTM bout did not actually understand and like it till my mid 30s. I kept trying it once in a while from being a teenager and eventually made sense. So glad I kept going back to it. My friend always says you can't actually fully get it unless you have a smoke though. I don't know about that. Sid stuff is starting point if don't like this.

Okay, I'll check out Piper next time I have time to listen to an album, I'll probably go back to DSOTM eventually, on my first listen it just seemed like a bunch of noise. However I thought the same thing about OK Computer on my first listen and now it is really growing on me.

Neither? Not one of their works?

I like a few Rolling Stones songs but I always thought Jagger's voice was just annoying. As for Fleetwood Mac, I like a few songs as well such as, "Never Going Back Again" and "The Chain". However I never got what all of the hype was about songs like "Go your own way" and "Don't Stop" just seem overly happy and kind of annoying. I don't really have any nostalgia towards either of the bands.

Not really interested in Fleetwood Mac, but if anybody has any good suggestions for the Rolling Stones I would love to give them a second chance.

Firstly as for Fleetwood Mac, you say they seem overly happy and annoying - just accept it as that - Rumours is essentially in my opinion an album filled with pop/rock classics that are simply incredibly enjoyable. Although stuff like Oh Daddy do have a darker more mature sound. Not that it's a criticism, a mere observation. Yeah I'm willing to accept that there are so many better albums in terms of technicalities.

As for the Stones I'd start you off in the direction of:

Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones

This one includes a few hits that will have heard of that therefore will help you get through the album on initial listens. Furtheremore Jagger's voice towards the back end of the album is less snappy and upfront; check out I Got The Blues and Moonlight Mile - they are gorgeous.

In addition, other than The Dark Side Of The Moon I will point you towards:

Animals by Pink Floyd

In my opinion the best Pink Floyd album. I'd have dark side as probably their 4th best.

Awesome! Thanks for the suggestions, I don't think I'll be able to listen to any albums tomorrow, but over the next few days, I've got a lot of albums to listen to. 😁
